Calcutta Public School, Bidhan Park offers regular swimming lessons to the pupils from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with separate batches for boys and girls. The lessons are supervised by certified trainers and children are awarded a swimmer certificate if they clear the test at the end of the season.

Our institution boasts of an efficient and effective Student's Counselling Cell which focuses on overall development of the child along with identification of any special difficulty of the child in the areas of learning, stress and time management, emotional mentoring etc.

Those who love nature and the environment are given a chance to formulate ways and means to protect Mother Nature from destruction and degradation. A large number of activities are conducted by this group to spread awareness about burning environmental issues.

Regardless of age, feeling safe is important to everyone, no one likes to feel unsafe. Feeling safe is equivalent with feeling empowered.A karate class provides a long term class structure designed so the student can all of the components of self defense and martial arts, theory, body mechanics, blocks, defenses, vulnerabilities and mental control. A karate class is much more because the student learns the material through much repetition and practice. Karate once learned can not be forgotten, it becomes a part of who you are.

This club is all about sports and sportsmanship! Not only are pupils trained in various fields of sports, but also allowed to develop their sports man spirit.

The future scientists who are keen to invent are given an opportunity to experiment with new things and develop their creativity through constant brain storming.

The students who are inquisitive about anything and everything are trained to frame interesting questions and work out its answers in the club which aims at creating avid quizzers and smart quiz masters.

Those with nimble fingers are taught to develop this skill and enhance their creativity through regular lessons and workshops.

The students who display musical talent are trained to sing and play instruments.

Pupils who have a flair for dancing or choreographing are trained in this club in eastern, western, contemporary or classical dance genres.
